Work Day For Our Web Game

Today, we spent a large majority of our time at Cardiff Metropolitan University where we worked in their gaming lab to develop our web games. We had assigned our teams yesterday and mainly focused on game design development. Our game engine demonstrates a 2D overhead racing game. Our goal is to modify that code and turn it into our own games. Much of the workday was also spent reading through and understanding the code as well as catch up on javascript.

We made our way back to the hostel around 15:00. Some of us walked through Pontcanna Fields park and along the river on our journey back. We stopped by a huge graffiti wall across the river from our hostel. It was amazing to see the skills some of these artists had! For dinner, a group of us went to go each sushi at Yo! Sushi. The atmosphere was fun and there was a special where most of the dishes were priced at £2.80! After sushi, some of us went to go get some gelato at a local desserts shop. The atmosphere of the shop was very fun as well with a car in the middle of the shop and purple glitter walls. After all said and done, some of us played some BS to pass the time in the hostel's lobby.
