The original plan for today was to go visit Caerphilly Castle. This plan was cancelled, however, due to complications with the bus. Despite the cancellation, I still went to visit a castle; Cardiff Castle.

Cardiff Castle is a small castle just down the street from where our group is staying and it was full of history. Much of this history came from its numerous changes it has gone through, but presently it consists of a castle wall, a keep, and a main house (or mansion).

The rich history that surrounds Cardiff Castle made the visit well worth it (even with the rain). From the ancient Roman walls to the most recent renovation of the mansion, I loved learning about part of Cardiff's history. Also, Scott threw a frisbee from the top of the keep down to the lawn which was pretty cool.
