Sunday Fun Day

Hello there!

So today was a free day in Cardiff, so everyone kind of did their own thing. This morning I went with a group to a cute little breakfast place near the hotel. It was very exciting because they had foods that have not been so common up until now, such as pancakes and French toast! After breakfast we went back to the hostel, where everyone was mostly hanging around. There was an adorable farmers market just down the street that has freshly made crepes, hamburgers, and other types of pastries and street food. Even though I just had breakfast, I couldn't resist going over and getting a warm crepe with nutella. After I roamed through the market I hung around the hostel until it was time for the rugby match. Around 4:30, everyone who wanted to go headed over to the stadium. We went a little early so we could check out the pro shop and get jerseys. Then we watched the game, and to be honest I had almost no clue what was going on. Most of us didn't, but we had lots of fun anyway! After the match (Cardiff won!) I went with a smaller group to Bierkeller, which is a local sports bar. There we ate pub food and watched some American football. Overall it ended up being a pretty full day! After a fun weekend, everyone is getting ready to head back to the university tomorrow!
