Saturday in Bath
Hello all!
So today was a pretty busy day for the group. We actually had a choice between two different trips, one led by Anne and one led by Pete. I went with Anne's group to Bath, while the other group went to Swansea. We left around 9 am to catch a train to Bath. Once we got there, we walked through part of the city and went straight to the baths. There was an incredible museum, and we were allowed to go straight up to the water. There was a small sign that said not to touch the water, but as McKenna pointed out, if they really meant it the sign would be bigger. So I definitely touched the water. After the baths we walked through more of the city and stopped at a delicious Italian restaurant to get some lunch. Then we walked up to see the Circus, Royal Crescent, and then Pulteney Bridge. The bridge had shops lined up across it, and it was super fun to shop and walk across it. We had a little bit of more time before our train left, so we walked over to Bath Abbey, which was a stunning cathedral. Then it was time to head back, and once we got back everyone hung around for the rest of the night. It was definitely an amazing day trip!
