Raining on Our Parade

Today was another day in the beautiful games lab at Cardiff Metropolitan University. But first we had to get there. It was pouring rain this morning so most of the group tried to take the bus, but I decided to sleep a little bit more so Alex and I walked in the rain, and were found by Chad whose buses never came for him. I actually like the rain to some extent. I'm from western Washington so I know a little bit about the rain, so I almost enjoyed the walk to school. No hood, no umbrella, like a western Washingtonian should do it :)
In class I had a pretty frustrating day, today was my first day really diving into the code for the game engine which we were never really orientated to. This caused a lot of confusion and doing a lot of trying and testing to see what worked and what didn't. In the end I didn't get too much done in terms of working changes, but I got a little more acquainted with the code so it should be easier going forward.
In the evening a few of us went to a pub called Bierkeller with a MASSIVE projector screen that they show football games on. We watched Manchester United FC beat Stoke City FC 3-0.
