Oxford

Today we took a bus to Oxford-Brooks University. While we were there we heard different talks from computer science professors on the research they are doing. One professor and his group are working with augmented reality to help with industrial work, and some work in the medical field by helping to detect heart attacks. 

After the talks we got to go see their robotics room where they have 3-D printers and the different robots they are using. They are currently building a robot that they can use and not worry about the terms and conditions. They also have a RoboThespian robotic actor. The robot acted out scenes from Star Wars, The Wizard of OZ and sang a song from the Sound of Music.

Once we left Oxford-Brooks we walked around Oxford and looked at parts of the campus. Then we concluded our day at a Pub called the Eagle and Child which is where J.R.R. Tolken and C.S. Lewis used to sit and talk.
