Our Last Day at Uni

Our last week in Cardiff was amazing!  We finished up our projects and got the opportunity to present them not only to each other but also to a few students and professors who were at the university that day. There were 5 groups who presented. Andrew, Andrew, Elisha, and myself made a TRON racing game with a few different tracks, some power ups, and a split screen. Justice, Madeline, and Drew made a soccer game with two players, a ball, and beer for extra points. Pete, Bao, and Colleen made a golf game that had some really cool physics to swing and aim your shot. Kristen, McKenna, Aleisha, and Tersa made a fun collection game and used their own faces for some of the power-ups and power-downs which was quite funny. Ji, Scott, Alex, and Chad made a fun racing game with a lot of unique and different maps. We spent two weeks working on these projects and considering all the code we had to go through to even get started working I was very impressed with the turnout of everyone's projects. The professors at the university were also impressed with our work considering our time frame and limited knowledge of the programming language that we were supposed to use (JavaScript).

Our time in Cardiff went by too fast, but it was well spent and we really felt like we got to know the city while we were there.
