Goodbye London, Hello Cardiff
Our day started out with each person packing in preparation for the check out time. When 10 AM rolled around, we all proceeded to check out of our rooms, and leave our luggage at the hotel so that we could go do our last minute sightseeing and shopping in London. Some people went to museums, while others went souvenir shopping.
After saying goodbye to London, we all met at Paddington station for a quick lunch, and a not so quick train ride to Cardiff. The train ride itself had a bumpy start for some. Nearly half the group was supposed to be seated in the end car, but were rushed onto the fourth car because the train was late. There was a traffic jam of sorts as we tried to navigate and find a place to sit since we were not allowed to walk through the cars to the back. Luckily the fourth car had plenty of space for everyone.
The train ride lasted nearly two and a half hours, and many passed the time by playing card games, sleeping, or chatting. We arrived in Cardiff at around 3:30, where we proceeded to navigate to the NosDa hostel where we will be staying for the next two weeks. The hostel is clean, and has a nice charm to it. We unpacked, and many people went to explore the town. Some stayed back at the hostel to rest, and have dinner.
