Cardiff Metropolitan University

On Tuesday we took a train from Paddington Station to Cardiff.  Cardiff is the largest city in Wales.  It is in South Wales and is near the coast.  It is considered a harbor town and is/was a mining town and an industrial town.  It is charming and has many cathedrals and a castle right in town.  We look forward to exploring all that in the next several days.

On Wednesday morning we got up and took a bus to Cardiff Metropolitan University, where we met members of the Computing and Information Systems.  The department chair, Jason Williams, gave us a tour of the School of Management building.  The building reminded us of Robinson Science Hall, only bigger.  After the tour we started a games workshop.  Students are already working in teams to take a basic game framework and build their own game.  Students will present their work on Friday, 19 January.

Out front of Cardiff Met.  All signs are in Welsh and English.
