A Rainy Day in Cardiff

Yesterday was a rather wet and windy day for me. On the walk to Cardiff Met, it was very windy and it was slightly drizzling until I could see the building and it started to pour down rain like there was no tomorrow. Thankfully, I took my umbrella. For the most part, I stayed dry, but the wind blew the rain sideways for part of the time, which was rather annoying. After working on my project for a couple hours, I headed back to the hostile. Initially, it was not raining at all, nor was the wind blowing. I could slightly see the sun behind the clouds, so I just knew that it was going to stop raining for the rest of the day or so I thought. I ended up going to the store to grab a couple things, since it was not raining, and by the time I walked out of the store, the sun disappeared and there were only dark and aggressive looking clouds in the sky. It started to drizzle again, so I took out my umbrella. As soon as I opened it, the wind blew my umbrella in the opposite direction it was supposed to open and it broke. I was kind of upset, but not really because it was not raining that hard. To my dismay, soon after it started to rain relentlessly. It was then that I knew I was screwed. Needless to say, I was very upset at that point, but there was nothing I could do but walk back in the rain.
