A Day in Oxford

Now that we've all gotten used to London, it's time for a change of scenery. This morning we boarded the Oxford Tube, a double decker bus bound for the famed city.
Upon arrival, we headed straight to Oxford Brookes University's campus, where some of their computing professors told us a bit about what they're researching. From augmented reality to artificial intelligence,  there's a lot going on!
Whilst there, we also got to visit their robotics lab and interact with "Arty", a RoboThespian robotic actor. It was a little creepy to see a robot sing 'The Sound of Music'.
After visiting the university, we were free to wander around the city center. Many went to souvenir shops, satisfied our caffeine addictions at cafes, and saw the sights. I myself visited an antique bookshop and found a couple of CS Lewis books,  as Oxford was the home of the famed author and theologian.
In a similar spirit, the group had dinner at The Eagle and Child,  a centuries-old pub where Lewis, Tolkien,  and the rest of the Inklings gathered to drink and discuss ideas.
All in all, it was a lovely day.
